Ten years after his successful film Timbuktu (2014), Abderrahmane Sissako is making a new film, which unfolds as a story of female self-empowerment mixed with a smouldering cross-cultural love story.
The film will be screened as the opening film of the Africa Film Festival in Ghent and then travel on to Leuven.
