BOOKTALK FOR ADULTS
(This event is in Dutch)
A book event about diversity and inclusion in the world of literature.
From profound children's books to multifaceted romances; come and discover it at this book talk. Authors of colour are increasingly making their mark on the Flemish literary world and enriching it with unique perspectives, anecdotes and experiences.
Great strides have already been made to make the literary world more diverse and inclusive, but there is still a long way to go.
Four inspiring authors are invited to present their work and engage in a conversation about how they navigate through the literary landscape. The event is divided into two different booktalks.
In the first booktalk, children and their parents can discover beautiful inclusive children's books by Esohe Weyden, Dalilla Hermans and Remy Ndow.
In the second booktalk, we will focus on non-fiction, with books by Ish Ait Hamou and Dalilla Hermans.
Come, learn, listen and enjoy!
