GARDEN TALES | It has everything, even a dragon!
This classic 1940s town garden, with its horizontal lawn and rose beds, was reworked by the owner to introduce a dash of ‘mystery’ and make it more welcoming to wildlife while retaining its large magnolia tree and schist paths. An altered landscape, home to strange sculptures, a fountain, a large pond fed by a stream that collects the overflow from the cistern, and with walls concealed by a mixture of native plants and exotic curiosities, home to countless insects and birds. A feast for eyes and ears as well as for nose and palate, a place in which to unwind and reconnect with nature.
