Landscape architecture on Thursdays | OKRA LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS
This conference will take place at La Cambre-Horta's Faculty of Architecture.
OKRA landscape architects’s distinctive design philosphy builds on three pillars: to imagine, to create, to innovate. Specializing on spatial planning and sustainable cities, the practice tackles complex challenges with a spirit of curiosity and innovation, identifying opportunities to turn them into sustainable and meaningful living environments. OKRA designs flexible public spaces that can change with time, matching today’s desires and opening up for tomorrow’s evolutions.
In his talk, associate landscape architect Pierre-Alexandre Marchevet will present a series of projects with a focus on urban and landscape design. He has developed a multi-layered and integral approach that combines poetry and innovation, spatial quality and site-specific stories, intervention and appropriation. Pierre-Alexandre has a background in Applied Arts and Interior Design. He studied landscape architecture at the Versailles School of Landscape Architecture (ENSP) and at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture.
