A garden of colours on a bed of gravel
Designed in 2011 by Zoé Salmon, the front garden of this modern house surprises visitors with its mineral appearance. While on the left, perennials brighten up a mound created on a carpet of gravel, on the right, a small path winds around a curve, inviting us to discover the back of the property.
This thoroughly contemporary garden is a perfect match for the bold architecture, surrounded by a green tableau in the style of Dutch garden designer Piet Oudolf: tall grasses, large patches of simple, hardy perennials and some evergreen shrubs.
At the back of the house, the garden is composed of a courtyard, a patio and an old orchard, next to the Kauwberg nature reserve.
