Corporate Gala Dinner - Plan International Belgium
Plan International is a global humanitarian organization that promotes children's rights and gender equality, now active in more than 80 countries. Plan International strives for a world in which every individual, especially girls, is treated equally.
The Belgian entity was founded in 1983 in Ghent and aims to celebrate its 40th anniversary with an unforgettable Corporate Gala Dinner on December 3, 2024, at Ghent's new hotspot: the Wintercircus!
What can you expect from this evening? A lot, a whole lot....
o 2 inspiring keynote speakers:
Nadia Aime ("Now is not forever" - her poignant and inspiring life story about the importance of education and seizing opportunities)
Angelique van Ombergen ("First Woman on the Moon: From Dreams to Reality" - a top Belgian scientist working at ESA - the European Space Agency)
o Panel discussion “Transformative Power of Sport”:
The proceeds from the gala evening will go to the Rwandan sports and education project “Bike for Future.” This is linked to the 2025 World Cycling Championships in Rwanda. The panel members will share their insights on the power of sport (sponsorship/well-being/governance) on society from different perspectives.
The panel members are:
- Cedric Van Branteghem (CEO Belgian Olympic Committee)
- Bob Verbeeck (CEO Golazo)
- Sandra Gobert (CEO Guberna)
- Jeroen De Wit (CEO Teamleader)
- The Rwandan gravel champion Neza Violette is our Plan ambassador for the “Bike for Future” project and will also testify about this.
o An exquisite dinner prepared by chef Seppe Nobels, live music by a special guest, an auction of some top experiences, networking opportunities with more than 200 socially engaged entrepreneurs, and an exhibition on inspiring collaborations with several corporate partners.
